The series is based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The comic was published by DC Comics. The story follows a team of vigilantes called the Boys, against the so-called superheroes who are famous and powerful but actually pretty corrupt and rude.

The drama series is set in a universe where super-powerful humans are highly praised and are considered superheroes, in return, the superheroes get a lot of money and fame. But they are not superheroes at all in fact they don?t use the powers given to them wisely and abuse their superpowers. The superheroes are owned by a company called Vought International which commercializes them and makes a lot out of them.
The Seven VS The Vigilantes
The superheroes are corrupt and dishonest as well as rude. To deal with them the Boys come into the picture, a group of vigilantes who know the truth about the Seven and will take them on. The fight between them gets out of hand once the girlfriend of a group member of Boys is killed by the A-Train member of the Seven because it has now turned into a vengeful fight.
